A little help, a little connection.

When asking for help, include the thing you are looking for and the situation you are in. “Which way?” is easier to understand when you also name the station, café, or meeting point. Keep that context in the same message.

Everyday words. Real connection.

English · Original

Can you show me the way to the station?

Italian · Translation

Mi puoi indicare la strada per la stazione?

Friendly or formal? Give a little context.

English “you” does not tell a translator whether you want informal Italian tu or formal Lei. These examples use a friendly, informal tone. For a different relationship, mention the audience and review the wording rather than assuming one version fits every situation.

What “live translation” means here

Jajahaha is working toward conversations with translated text, voice notes, and an interpreter experience. Live interpretation involves recognizing a spoken phrase, translating it, and, when a compatible voice is ready, reading it aloud. It is not a promise of instant simultaneous speech on every device.

This Italian language pair has not been qualified for public release. These written examples do not demonstrate a working Italian speech engine or promise a launch feature. Standard voices in the current development setup cover English and Spanish.

Check availability

A better conversation, one phrase at a time.

  • Keep the original available and compare it when a translation feels unclear.
  • Say names, meeting places, and times clearly. Confirm important details together.
  • For speech, take turns and use complete thoughts. Background noise and overlapping voices make recognition harder.
